lipo battery cell dead
So you left your battery on your rx and forgot about it. you spent $55 to $90 on that expensive lipo and now it is dead. what do you do? this is what i did.. Steps for recovering 1 cell at 0.00v in a 5s 5000mah lipo. i would never open a lipo cell, for safety and then remove the dead cell from the battery.. Lipo issues. lithium polymer batteries, like most battery types, lipo cells are never charged before they arrive at your door..
Recently i bought 3 x 2 cell 2200 lipos from hk , and while tow were fine, one seemed faulty and seemed to have a dead cell - one of my lipo chargers would not charge. How i recover my lipo batteries , after i left them uncharged for a month. when i tried to use them was totally dead. no charge ,no signal on tester.. Unless the cells in the lipo have gone bad or damaged beyond repair, you should be able to bring up the deadest battery back up to the minimum voltage per cell..
